The calçot is a very tender variety of onion that has a characteristic flavour and sweetness. Our calçots come from Valls (Protected Geographical Indication), and the product is available on a seasonal basis, from the beginning of December to the end of March.
The calçots are charred over flames and they are delivered practically ready to eat after roasting for 11 minutes at 180º, in sealed trays of 20-25 calçots.
We recommend eating them with Romesco sauce or Can Bech calçot sauce.
